Also knowns as the Garden of Eden, the Vallée de Mai is a nature reserve located on the island of Praslin.
The garden is home for some of the Seychelles’ endemic species including the famous Coco de mer tree. The Coco de Mer tree grows naturally in Vallée de Mai and produces the largest seed in the world. The lush greens of the Vallée de Mai garden is also home to the Seychelles black parrot, if you’re lucky you will surely spot a few when visiting the garden.
